A Girls Weekend in Charleston, South Carolina

Updated: Jan 31, 2025

I recently took a trip to Charleston, South Carolina with my best friend and we had an absolute blast! The reason we initially went was because I really wanted to get out of Austin for a bit and I was really missing the beach. I was also considering Charleston as a place to potentially live in the future, so a trip was definitely needed! We explored so many parts of the city + I really loved the vibe. If you're thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it!

In this blog post, I will be sharing pictures from the trip as well as my itinerary! If you have any questions, feel free to DM me on Instagram @kimberlycobb. Enjoy reading!

WHAT WE DID

FRIDAY

9:30am - Get to airport

5:15pm - Land in Charleston, pick up rental car (pretty necessary in my opinion), drive to hotel (20 minutes from airport to hotel)

8:00pm - Dinner at Indaco

9:00pm - Go out to the bars on King Street (the bars we loved: Prohibition, Republic Garden & Lounge, Saltwater Cowboy, Uptown Social)

SATURDAY

10:00am - Sleep in a bit + stop at Starbucks a few minutes away from our hotel

11:00am - Take a boat tour of Cypress Gardens (40 minute drive from hotel + $10 ticket). The ticket includes a private boat that you get to ride through where they filmed The Notebook and we get to see a butterfly house and gardens.

1:00 pm - Head back into town for lunch at Frannie & The Fox (fancy pizzas)

3:00 pm - Self guided “walking tour” of the city & water

  • Stop 1: Charleston City Market- good place to buy souvenirs & shop!

  • Stop 2: Pineapple Fountain

  • Stop 3: Rainbow Row

  • Stop 4: Battery Waterfront Park

SUNDAY

6:00am - Catch the sunrise at Folly Beach (20 minute drive from hotel to beach)

9:00am - Post-beach breakfast at dog-themed restaurant, Lost Dog Cafe (5 minutes from beach)

10:30 am Drive to Angel Oak Tree (27 minute drive from beach to tree)

12:30 - Lunch at Circe’s Grotto (sandwiches, lemonade) or Verde (salads) (25 minute drive from tree to lunch)

4:30pm - Rooftop drinks at Citrus Club on top of the Dewberry Hotel (sunset at 5:15pm) to celebrate the end of our trip! They had the best food ever + the yummiest mocktails too!

MONDAY

8:45 am- Check out of hotel and drive to airport (20 minutes)

9:15am - Drop off rental car

11:00am - Fly back home! Bye Charleston!

WHAT I PACKED

Everyone dresses pretty casually in Charleston so that's exactly how I dressed! Comfort is key too, especially when you're doing so much walking. Here are some of the must-have items I packed:

TIPS

  • Download your Spotify playlists before traveling

  • Depending on the time of year that you visit, pack clothing items for layering! It's nice + warm during the day but chilly at night + on the beach

  • Wear comfy shoes since you'll be doing a lot of walking

  • You're going to be taking lots of pics during this trip since everything is so beautiful, so make sure your phone is charged!

The way a platform handles simultaneous activity often reflects how well its internal system is structured. When multiple gameplay types run together, inconsistencies can appear if not properly balanced. In the environment around https://www.sportsimportance.in.net/, different categories such as card games, slots, fish shooting, and live casino operate without interfering with each other. Each section follows its own processing flow while remaining part of a unified system. This separation ensures that performance remains stable even when multiple features are used within the same session

Detailed and practical, this guide explains concrete rebar in a way that feels approachable without oversimplifying. The step by step clarity is especially useful for readers new to the subject. I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality. Great resource. explanation feels practical for everyday rauhaneusers. I checked recommended tools on https://www.eljnoub.com

Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people-to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-orexplore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.

There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space, you might…
