Carmel-by-the-Sea Day Trip Itinerary
Decided to jump in the car and take a COVID-friendly spontaneous day trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea! It was my first time there and it did not disappoint!
We had a super laid back day and I 100% recommend doing exactly what we did if you need a little beach escape! Enjoy!
ITINERARY
𝟵:𝟬𝟬𝗮𝗺
Left Sacramento (I like to sleep in ok! Lol. But for real, leave earlier if you want to spend more time there during the day!) 🚗
𝟭𝟮:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺
Arrived in Carmel! Superrr overcast driving in, but the town itself was sunny and perfect! 🌞

We brought @loulou_thepompom so needed to find a dog friendly restaurant! Ate at Rise & Roam and had delicious pizza and vegan treats on their sunny patio! 🤤🍕🍪

Walked down the hill to the beach! The beach was overcast (so bring a sweater!) and also pretty packed so didn’t stay too long! Just took a stroll and enjoyed the gorgeous view! 🌊

Walked back up to the town and went shopping through all the stores! Bought an adorable locally hand painted Christmas ornament at Kris Kringle of Carmel to add to the travel ornament collection!

I have a hugeeee sweet tooth! So stopped for some ice cream and cupcakes at Carmel Bakery!🍦🧁 There was a huge line but it was worth it! 𝘼𝙡𝙨𝙤, 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙊𝙑𝙄𝘿. 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙏𝙈𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙.

Then hit the road and was home a little past 9pm!
I didn’t shoot any content during this day trip so these were some of the only pictures I got! But it was soooo nice to enjoy the day and disconnect for a bit!
